Letter to a prostitute

I passed you on the streets of New York City the other day. I just can't stop thinking about you. I caught a glimpse of you out of the corner of my eye as my husband, children, and I passed by. I could see the longing and pain in your eyes. I wanted to reach out to you and hug you.
Do you remember when you were a little girl? What was your dream? What did you want to be when you grew up? It's still possible. You're worth so much more then you will ever know. I know it must be hard. I'm sure you think that you have no other option then to sell yourself for sex. God hasn't forgotten you. He loves you. Just like he loves me. He wants more then anything for you to come to him, talk to him, and ask for his help and guidance.
There is a way out of the life choices you are making. It will take courage. You will have to believe in yourself. I believe in you. I know you can do so much more with your life then you think. You're young. You're beautiful. You're a child of God. I have seen God work miracles in my life and I know he can work them in yours. Don't ever loose hope! Don't ever think it is too late to start over.!
Your life has value. I don't know you, but I love you.
